
Every winter, I spend the week between Christmas and New Years sitting in a freezing pit with a group of good friends, scouting the horizon for ducks and geese. It's a great opportunity to get outside, enjoy a change of pace, and "process our issues" (at least that's what my buddies say we do during our outings). And yes, we do clean and eat what we shoot.
